Following our launch in March this year, we have completed several milestones at Station House. From laying the foundation to reaching our first level, over the last 8 months we have been busy with construction, key infrastructure and welcoming our new partners to this iconic development.
Despite the challenges with loadshedding and disruptive weather we have made substantial headway with construction. In August, we saw the development being officially ahead of schedule with poured concrete up to the fifth floor! These levels will encompass residential units and a boutique hotel, as well as exclusive resident’s facilities like a lounge and entertainment hub, pet park, and outdoor kinetic gym. In October, we worked on the top slab of the building with slab pours across the 10th, 11th and 12th floors while the final lift was installed this month. We’re also thrilled to note that our onsite Show Unit is ready for viewing. Residents and potential homeowners can now experience the Fresnaye vibe for themselves.
Over this time, we have also announced our delightful resident partners that have joined Station House. The Kove Collection, which will be located on our ground floor bespoke café and 9th floor rooftop restaurant and champagne-mixology bar. We are also proud to have a signature Pick n Pay supermarket in the building located at ground floor. As your one-stop destination for a range of items, there will be no need to stock up when you are merely a lift ride away.
This year we also went on to introduce our boutique hotel operator, Home Suite Hotels. The Home Suite Hotels brand was launched in 2019. Its first boutique hotel, Home Suite Hotel Bristol in Rosebank, has gone from strength to strength and is rated the number one hotel in Johannesburg on Tripadvisor. We are proud to partner with this exceptional company and look forward to bringing this bespoke offering to our guests from December 2022.
As a first-of-its-kind development on the Atlantic Seaboard, Station House is changing the way we see modern living in Fresnaye. As Station House becomes a reality, we see that it continues to grow in demand as we have reached over R390 million in sales. With facilities in one of South Africa’s most sought-after locations, who would want to miss out on the opportunity of living here?
